Gingerbread & Martinis

Gingerbread and martinis - what a great way to spend a cold winter evening.  Matt's mom bought us this gingerbread house kit a couple weeks ago, and we finally had a chance to put it together.

First came the martinis, though.  

Matt makes a mean one.

And just the way I like it!  Six olives.  I'm actually not a big fan of martinis in the first place - especially gin martinis.  I'm just in it for the olives.  

Here's Matt starting out with the assembly.  He got the really exciting job of holding everything in place for 60 seconds.  

And here's me struggling to get to the olives.  

Doesn't it look like the work of a professional?
